About Us
Vinha Alta is an independent Madeira Island beverages producer. We want to bring you distinctive drinks made from locally grown products, supplied directly by friend farmers. We source from selected producers who share our vision for carefully crafted beverages.

Our products reflect our commitment and care… our eclectic, adventurous and experimental spirit… be adventurous too!
EAU-DE-VIE
We use ugly fruit, that would end up in a landfill, and give it an opportunity to show us its true spirit. We produce unique fruit brandies by handpeeling the fruit, assuring slow fermentions and careful distillations.
RUM
We decided to be bold and went for a Double Distillation method for our Madeira Agricole Rum. We also dared to explore new paths in the maturation and ageing of this drink.
We will see what time has in store for us on that matter
GIN
Gin is a world of possibilities. We opt for simple recipes, with few botanicals, highlighting the aromas of our Island. Here we also begin a journey through the sensorial world that the maturations of spirits can offer.
